Hey Guys,

I am so sorry that you didn't hear a lot from me during the past weeks. I really try to upload some new updates every week but sometimes I am really busy and forget to share something new with you on the blog. In the past weeks I managed all the document stuff for Dubai and I am really happy that I have my resident visa right now so that I can open my bank account and start looking for my own car. On the weekend I want to look for my first own car in Dubai because at the moment I am renting a car and that is much more expensive than to finance one. I am really excited if I will find a car because I think it could be really hard to find one which is nice and not too expensive. We also decided to move from our sharing villa to our own flat during the next months and there are so many changes in such a short time. I really love the time here and I am so thankful for all the experiences but I am really happy when everything is done and Dubai feels like a real home. I am so curious what I will say at the end of the year because I think it takes some time that you can really make a conclusion about such a big move. At the moment I experience my first Ramadan in Dubai and it is a really interesting period. We work shorter hours and we are often invited to iftars in the evening. It is so nice to eat together with all the different people from all over the world and share some food and drinks. A lot of restaurants and hotels have special menus during this time and it is really interesting to try all the different specialities.
