Good morning Guys,
I am still dreaming of the amazing afternoon tea at Roman Lounge in Caesars Bluewaters Dubai. The Resort Complex is divided into two hotels Caesars Palace & Caesars Resort and in the middle of the hotels is the famous Cove Beach Club which is one of my favorite beach clubs in Dubai. The Roman Lounge where the afternoon tea takes place is located on the right side of the Lobby area of Caesars Palace. Roman Lounge has indoor and outdoor seating and I would always recommend you to get a table outside because the view above the sea is amazing. Luckily, we got the last spot outside and could enjoy the beautiful weather while chatting and eating the delicious pastries.
Usually, I am not a big fan of afternoon tea because mostly the food selection is really sweet and you feel bloated after eating so much sugar. However, Roman Lounge has a completely different concept and the balance between sweet and salty pastries is just perfect. They combined different delicacies from all around the world which takes you through a culinary journey in the footsteps of legendary caesar. The menu includes a selection of customized flavored sandwiches, freshly baked scones and and a selection of homemade pastries. Beside the normal afternoon tea menu they offer as well gluten free, vegan & vegetarian options. If you want to see the whole menu in detail, feel free to click here to check it out.
When it comes to the drinks I can always suggest you to ask the service staff what they can recommend because the selection of different tea, coffee and other beverages is huge. I tried the Japanese Matcha Tea and I really liked it. If you like to upgrade you afternoon tea a little bit you can order a glass of Taittinger Brut, Reims which is available including the afternoon tea menu package for 250 AED. The normal afternoon package without any alcohol is available for 185 AED.
Beside the amazing food and beverages I really enjoyed the great service staff. They were all really friendly and interested to recommend you something suitable from the menu. Even the cook came to us to explain the different delicacies from the tray and which ingredients were used. I completely enjoyed the full experience & for sure I will visit Roman Lounge soon again.
Best, Patty
